I am an independent author, certified developmental/story editor, certified copy editor, and teacher. I have a passion for crafting captivating stories that blend magic, mystery, and adventure. With a background in both writing and education, I have dedicated my career not only to writing fantasy stories, but also to helping aspiring authors hone their craft.

Drawing inspiration from a lifelong love of fantasy and a deep appreciation for the complexities of adolescence, I bring a unique perspective to the genre. My debut series, A Trial of Kingdoms, invites readers into a world where magical characters navigate the challenges of duty, friendship, and relationships while battling an evil sorcerer bent on subjugating their world.

When not writing, I can be found spending time with my family, practicing archery, playing guitar, or diving into a good book. I live in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia with my family and an ever-growing collection of magical relics—mostly in the form of cherished books and fantastical stories.
